A blend of 65% Roussanne and the rest Viognier, the 2007 Booker Vineyard White doesn’t hold much back and offers big, rich aromatics of honeyed fruit and apricots, a full bodied, rich palate, awesome texture and a long finish. I’m a big fan but if you’re looking for a delicate, mineral driven white, look elsewhere.

(65% roussanne and 35% viognier) Bright, greenish-gold color. Mineral-inflected aromas of lime, white peach and pear skin, with strong notes of quinine and talc. Plum, juicy tangerine and orchard fruit flavors gain power and depth with air while retaining energy. Bright and focused on the finish, which strongly echoes the mineral notes and hangs on impressively.
