Cask sample. Much richer fruit than the Vaudenelles. Correct with some potential. Good attack. (JR)

The 2021 Marsannay Les Longeroies, which underwent a late malo, has a very well defined bouquet with brambly red fruit and light tertiary scents. The palate is beautifully defined with wonderful tension, saline and refined with tart red fruit on the finish. Superb.
From the best vine genetics within their holdings, which date back to the glory days of the Domaine Clair-Daü, the 2021 Marsannay La Murée offers up aromas of plums, smoky berries, blackcurrant and cherries. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with lively acids and a long, penetrating finish, it's a small cuvée that's well worth seeking out.
