2020 Clos Vougeot

From purchased grapes including 70% whole bunch, the 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru has a well-defined bouquet with black fruit, sous-bois, gravel and light stemmy notes in the background that will be assimilated with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, the whole bunch defining the style of the Clos Vougeot at the moment with a pepper finish. Quite long, I would have just liked a little more red fruit here. Very fine though.
