Score 92/100 · Drink 2018-2033, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jan 2016
The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Cazetiers has a lifted raspberry and redcurrant-scented bouquet that needs to develop a little more complexity and terroir-expression. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit, a keen line of acidity, and impressive harmony and refinement on the finish - red cherries and wild strawberry fruit. This is a winsome Cazetier that might hold a torch to the Clos Saint-Jacques 2013 if the aromatics can muster greater nuance.

Mid crimson. Intensely perfumed fruit. Tightly packed bitter cherry fruit and a dry finish. Everything is tucked in here but it is very youthful and the acidity is making its presence felt. (JR)
