In a distinctly black fruit style, conveying terrific inner-mouth lift and energy to its flavors of blueberry, cassis and minerals. The ripe tannins saturate the entire mouth on the back end, with saline minerality drawing out the finishing fruit. This is showing more personality today than the Murgers and may provide pleasure earlier, but it has the structure for a 20-year life in bottle.
