Mature-looking ruby with orange rim. Nutty yet not unfine but looks already quite mature on the nose with tobacco and earthy notes. Beginning of tar? Same mature impression on the palate but there is some depth to the fruit. Soft finish with just enough underlying tannins. Ends pretty sweet. (WS)
