Sassetti Livio Pertimali is one of the leading estates in Montalcino – consistently producing some of the region’s top Brunello wines.
Four generations of the Sassetti family have produced wine in and around Montalcino in Tuscany. The estate has library stock of wines dating back to the early 1900s. However, Livio Sassetti officially founded the Sassetti Livio Pertiamali estate in 1960 when he bought the Pertimali property situated on the hill of Montosoli in the northern part of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation.
