Full, bright red. Redcurrant, raspberry, dried flowers, mocha and nutty oak on the nose. Juicy, firm and penetrating, with mint and menthol nuances to the clean, tangy berry and oak flavors. Falls down a bit on the finish, which shows a dry, peppery edge.

Good deep ruby-red. Aromatic nose combines black cherry and licorice. Densely packed but backward, even austere, in a distinctly dry style. Shows a lot of oaky torrefaction in the mouth. Quite tannic and tough today. Is this just going through an awkward stage?
