Score 90-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Good saturated ruby-red. Aromatic nose of red cherry, redcurrant, nutty oak and iron. Lovely subtle, penetrating sweetness in the mouth; has density and volume but also firm underlying spine. Finishes with fine but substantial tannins and impressive persistence.
