Good bright red. Superripe, slightly high-toned aromas of raspberry and pepper, with a suggestion of dried fruits. Ripe, supple and dense but also airy and dry, with raspberry, peppery and spice flavors dominating. Finishes long, with a light touch, but today I don't find the depth or mineral pungency this wine showed from barrel.
