Good medium red. Redcurrant, leather, earth and nutty oak on the nose. Supple and fairly dense, with flavors of dried red fruits, earth, leather and spice, as well as a saline suggestion of soil. Not a particularly fruity style. Finishes a bit hard-edged, with notes of minerals, pepper and herbs.

Moderately saturated medium red. Nicely ripe aromas of currant, mocha and smoked meat; a bit less black in character than the Damodes and Porets Saint-Georges. Then more pliant and a bit more evolved than the foregoing samples, in a distinctly Vosne style. Finishes with good length and moderately ripe tannins.
