From old Rheingau genetics planted in 1969 (two-thirds) and 1970-1971 (one-third) on shell limestone soils, the 2024 Eltville Collection Dry is deep, pure, intense and elegant on the complex, expressive, very substantial nose. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, this is an intense, textural and persistently saline Riesling with a stimulatingly lemony finish. It has a very different texture compared to the Kiedrich and Lorcher crus. This has great aging potential. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2025.

Great citrus and garden herb complexity on the extremely refined, medium-bodied palate. Then comes the no less remarkable finish that has an originality that the wines from the central section of the Rheingau have rarely shown during the last decades. From organically grown grapes.
