The 2021 Burg Layer Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is clear and intensely fruity but also savory on the nose that represents ripe, elegant Riesling fruit from old vines facing west intertwined with delicate notes of crushed red slate. Lush and round on the palate, this is a generous yet refined and balanced Schlossberg Kabinett with delicate, ripe and charming acidity and a finely grippy finish. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022.
