Smoke, meat, red fruit. Dry tannins and ripe fruit – wonderful balance of the two. Violets, tangy acid, bright finish. (RH)

(from purchased grapes) Good full red. Aromas of sweet red berries, blueberry and menthol. Then less fruity and more medicinal on the palate, with good texture but a slight dryness to the menthol and fresh herb flavors. Doesn't lack for concentration but comes off as drier and a bit less lively than the wines from Jadot's own holdings.
