The 2006 Nuits St.-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers boasts a very elegant bouquet of refined red berries intermingling with Chinese tea and bay leaf. The palate has a ferrous entry and seems more forward than the aromatics imply. There is a fine thread of acidity with good weight and harmony toward the masculine, introverted finish. I cannot see this improving further, so it will be worth broaching over the next three or four years. Drink now-2016.
