Tasting notes
Composed of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, the 2013 Isosceles Reserve gives a very deep garnet-black color and nose of crème de cassis, baked black berries, dried mulberries and preserved plums with hints of cedar box and Provence herbs, plus a waft of rare beef. The full-bodied palate is still wearing a lot of oak, with very firm, chewy tannins supporting the ripe fruit, finishing on a woody note.

More Cabernet dominated, the 2013 Isosceles Reserve is comprised of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot it was aged two years in French oak. It's deep ruby, saturated color is followed by a decadent, concentrated, voluptuously textured Cabernet that offers tons of currants, graphite, lead pencil shavings and licorice. Reminding me of a 2009 Bordeaux from the Pessac region, drink this pleasure bent beauty anytime over the coming decade as well.
