Score 92/100 · Drink 2015-2030, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2022
From a west-facing slope of gravelly loam, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Geo is marked by gently herbal scents of redcurrants and cherries. It's medium to full-bodied, smooth and silky on the palate, with a soft, dusty finish. It should continue to drink well for at least another six or seven years.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2016
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon GEO is made from Silverado's Mt. George vineyard in Coombsville. Ripe, flashy and seductive, the GEO shows the more flamboyant side of the vintage. Sweet red cherry, plum, spice and vanillin add to an impression of raciness. The GEO is Silverado's most overt 2012 Cabernet.
