Tasting notes
The 2020 Petite Sirah, which was brought up all in American oak, has lots of primary blue fruits, full-bodied richness, a juicy, layered texture, and just a kiss of grittiness on the finish. It s enjoyable though.

Aged entirely in American oak (19% new), the 2020 Petite Sirah pairs an interesting mix of garrigue-like notions with mocha and cigar box, plus notes of blueberries, licorice and dark chocolate. It's full-bodied and a bit chewy on the palate but ripe, juicy and long.
About the producer

Often confused with Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Stags’ Leap Winery is another Stags Leap District estate. With a long history, its Petite Sirah has cult status among aficionados, although – like most Napa estates – it produces a range of Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
