2022 Linne Calodo In My Dreams

Reminiscent of a Paso Robles take on a Ribeiro del Duero blend, the 2022 In My Dreams begins on a stunningly elegant, composed note before continuously taking on depth, darkness and power in the glass, ending up as the top wine in the range. The nose is laden with myriad spices and herbs floating over a cauldron of dark fruits that ceaselessly take on dimension. Similarly, the palate is compacted and intense before transitioning to a slow-moving finish that crescendos into a monstrous conclusion of burly, chewy tannins and intense, delineated fruits. An impressive, singular wine that seems to have defied the vintage conditions, this should develop beautifully in the cellar over the next decade. It is a blend of 42% Tempranillo, 27% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 9% Mourvèdre, 8% Graciano and 4% Tannat.
