Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2017-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jan 2015

The 2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru had only completed half of its malolactic, but even so I wager that it will turn out to be one of Charlopin’s best 2013s. Of course, the nose difficult to read, though there is clearly respectable definition and vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with lively red and black fruit. It is nicely focused with a poised finish that contains plenty of vim and vigor.
