2012 Forster Kirchenstück Riesling QbA trocken Edition GC

Yellow and stone-fruit aromas are combined in a powerful fragrance of eau-de-vie de mirabelle. On the palate a compact substance of ripe fruit is ably complemented by a generous spirity expression. Though the acidity only plays a walk-on part, the necessary edge is provide by an almost tactile sensation of peel notes on the finish. The Kirchenstück may be big, but it is not without subtlety.
