Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2027, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016

The 2014 Chablis 1Er Cru Montmains was cropped at 57 hectoliters per hectare and 20% of the crop was aged in oak barrel, the remaining in stainless steel. It has a composed and refined bouquet with citrus fruit and slate-like aromas, gaining intensity all the time in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with subtle orange zest and Clementine notes, a lovely thread of acidity and a harmonious, lightly spiced finish. This is a lovely Montmains that should drink well for several years.
