Straw color. Lemon candy, ginger, white pepper and watercress on the nose. Juicy, penetrating and rather austere, with flavors of lemon, lime, minerals and mint. Very dry but not quite hard, finishing with subtle herbal/peppery complexity.

Pungent, sweaty aromas of peppery spices and white flowers. Then ripe and soft in the mouth, with attractive sweetness and plenty of Chablis character. Like the Vaucoupin, this could use a bit more grip.
