2014 Spatburgunder Alte Reben

From a low-yielding vineyard planted in the Herrenberg in the 1920s by Alexander's grandmother, the 2014 Spätburgunder Alte Reben has an intense, sweet floral bouquet with concentrated ripe fruit and licorice aromas along with pepperoni and pimientos aromas. Silky and very elegant on the palate, this is another great red wine from Alexander Stodden. The wine has firm grippy tannins, good ripeness, concentration and a long, fresh and tensioned finish that indicates great aging potential.
