Tasting notes
The 2021 Monzinger Riesling Kabinett is pure, clear and deep on the saline, flinty and rather moderate nose. On the palate, this is is a salty-piquant, very stimulating and refreshing Riesling with a good, crystalline structure. This is a good Kabinett yet still far too young to dive into all its depth. Natural cork. 9% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022.

Marked by an aroma of crushed stones on the nose and sour grapefruit. Sweeter than most of the 2021 Kabinetts tasted so far and still has a sweet/sour contrast that needs time to mesh. (JH)
A very succulent and refreshing Kabinett that’s brimming with zesty freshness, the natural grape sweetness clearly there on the rather generous front palate, but the finish is pretty dry, with wonderful passion-fruit and lime acidity. Super-clean finish.
