Tasting notes
The 2021 Pinot Noir Bressay Estate Vineyard is a potent, brooding wine. Huge tannins wrap around a core of blackberry, crème de cassis, lavender, chocolate, sage and menthol. Readers will have to be patient, as this powerhouse Pinot is going to need a number of years to come into its own. It's a tannic beast today.

A deep yet bright ruby, the 2021 Pinot Noir Bressay Estate Vineyard is lifted with notes of cinnamon, highly floral notes of candied roses, red berries, and wild strawberries. Medium-bodied, it offers tremendous energy, with seamless acidity, fine tannins, a stony texture, and more layers that unfold with orange peel and saline. Drink 2024-2045.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Bressay Estate Vineyard has a medium ruby color and a well of blueberry, raspberry, Earl Grey tea, rosewater and conifer aromas. The medium-bodied palate gets its power from sheer fruit concentration rather than structural weight. Carried along by seamlessly fresh acidity and a silky texture, this ultra perfumed Pinot Noir is especially expressive and will be long-lived in the cellar.
