Tasting notes
Pale tawny. Lively and great balance because not too painfully dry yet definitely high in acidity on the end. A really good drink! Super-fresh and a wine that could be drunk on its own or with a wide range of foods – if it were given a chance! Very long. (JR)

100% Sercial. RS 45 g/l. Ginger biscuits. Lemon blossom. Fresh, bright and juicy but simple. (TC)
Bright orange colour. Pungent, powerful nose suggests the wine may be a little sweeter than the average Sercial. Pungent indeed on the palate and a little rambunctious. Not subtle with slightly raw acidity on the edge of the palate. But clean fresh fruit on the mid palate some definite signs of extended wood ageing. Not the driest Sercial. But creamy and easy to like. Just a little alcohol warmth on the finish. (JR)
Deep gold. Straw, dried wild grasses, smells almost like a fortified orange wine. Nutty apricots. Sour-fruit flavours plus caramelisation. Sour, almost tart, but with a creamy richness to the texture that balances that acidity. Super-tangy finish. (JH)
