A lot of blue fruit and fresh violets here with some vanilla and cedar wood. Full-bodied with delicious fruit and a soft texture, highlighted by polished tannins. Succulent with a creamy mouth-feel. Long finish. So beautiful now. Drink or hold.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Slinsen Vineyard is deep garnet-purple colored, revealing youthfully shy notions of ripe blackberries, red and black plums and blackcurrants with suggestions of tobacco leaves, stewed tea, Chinese five spice and camphor with a waft of dried herbs. Richly fruited and full-bodied in the mouth, it has tons of spicy black fruit layers and a firm, fine-grained texture, finishing on a lingering peppery note.
