2008 Knights Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard

(14.9% alcohol, but says 15.5% on the label): Moderately saturated bright ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, raspberry, violet, menthol and loam. Moderately concentrated, pliant wine with aromatic dark berry and truffle flavors complicated by chocolate and gravel notes. A bit medicinal but full of life, showing an attractive texture, restrained sweetness and ripe, dusty tannins. Will this gain further in nuance? I'm not sure.
