NV Raumland - Riesling Brut Sekt Tradition

The NV Riesling Brut is officially a non-vintage Sekt (Lot No. 31322) but is entirely based on the 2012 vintage and was disgorged in February 2017. Based on grapes sourced in the Pfalz and in Rheinhessen but in a circle of just five kilometers, this sparkling wine opens with a ripe and elegant bouquet with lovely yeasty brioche and bread flavors. This is very elegant with perfectly ripe fruit, but it is discreet and interwoven into the complex bouquet. This is a mouthful of the finest German Riesling Sekt! It is very delicate and round but also dry, pure, fresh and with a good, well-structured finish. Great class and good length. Malolactic fermentation was done completely here.
