Tasting notes
A rare blend of two vineyards (Sugarloaf Mountain and Sage Ridge), Bevan's 2019 The Curmudgeon Proprietary Red is roughly 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, although there may be a splash of Petit Verdot as well. Boasting outstanding aromatics that include floral notes and lovely cassis, blueberry and licorice shadings, this is full-bodied, rich and concentrated on the palate, then dense, smooth and silky on the finish.
