(a blend of garnacha and cabernet sauvignon, with small amounts of carinena and syrah): Opaque ruby. Blackberry and cherry on the nose, with smoke and spice nuances adding complexity. Juicy, focused dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are braced by zesty acidity and pick up a peppery note on the back half. Nicely focused and light on its feet, finishing with good cut and lingering sweetness. This is already drinking well.
