Tasting notes
Blended with 10% Graciano and aged 30 months in 36% new barrels, all from the estate Paderewski Vineyard, the 2020 Tempranillo sports a deep purple hue to go with classic ripe Tempranillo notes of red, blue, and black fruits interwoven with savory herbs, leather, loamy earth, and graphite. It's richly textured, medium to full-bodied, has a pure, layered mouthfeel, lots of tannins, and a great finish. Give it a few years and enjoy over the following decade or more.

The 2020 Tempranillo is zesty with a cascade of dusty rose, crushed rocks, leather and raspberry forming its bouquet. It floods the palate with velvety textures and ripe fruits, all balanced by a core of zesty acidity. Grippy and pleasantly bitter, this leaves the mouth watering for more as hints of dark chocolate and clove fade over a bed of edgy tannins. Patience will be required.
The 2020 Tempranillo, from the Paderewski Vineyard, is blended with 10% Graciano and matured for 30 months in 36% new French oak. It has savory aromas of grilled meats, leather, dried herbs, steak sauce and graphite with a core of red and black cherries. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with nuanced fruit, revealing pretty floral character. It has a support of grainy tannins, bright freshness and a long, iodine-driven finish. 560 cases were made.
