Tasting notes
The 2020 Harmonie is spicy, floral and full of zesty black raspberry, all offset by kalamata olive hints. This is supremely elegant and refined, with bright acidity that excites its wild berry fruits, as inner violet and lavender tones resonate throughout. This finishes potent and with dramatic length, yet cleans up beautifully and leaves the mouth watering for more. What a darling. The Harmonie is a blend of 72% Grenache, 16% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah.

A blend of 72% Grenache, 14% Syrah and 14% Mourvèdre, the 2020 Harmonie has a medium ruby-purple color and scents of blueberry, pomegranate, black tea leaves, forest floor and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is softly chalky and energetic with a deep core of perfumed fruit and a long, juicy finish.
Bright red-berry fruit of redcurrants, raspberries and strawberries with some pomegranate, thyme and fine herbs wound into the nose. Fruity and pretty on the palate with a hint of coffee. Silky and polished tannins to close up. 72% grenache, 14% syrah and 14% mourvedre. Delicious now, why wait?
Black cherries, blackberries, leather, ground pepper, and spice all emerge from the 2020 Harmonie, a medium to full-bodied, round, nicely textured blend of 72% Grenache, 14% Syrah, and 14% Mourvèdre. It’s well-balanced, has plenty of fruit, and a good finish. Vigneron Guillaume Fabre continues to make brilliant wines under his Clos Solene label. While he’s planted numerous new vineyards on his estate, he also pulls fruit from Santa Maria and releases those wines under his Cuvee Jean bottlings.
