Medium red. Complex, aromatic nose combines black raspberry, sassafras, mocha, dried flowers and underbrush. Broad, sweet and deep, with brambly berry and underbrush flavors complemented by cola and spices. Offers a more generous, fleshy texture than the village wines and finishes firm and persistent, with dusty tannins and sweet fruit.

Good deep red. Expressive aromas of cherry, roasted strawberry and coffee. Sweet but restrained, with a higher pitch and sappier berry fruit than the Sentiers; this is much more primary in style. Firm acidity gives this wine good juicy cut and good thrust. This should age nicely.
