Tasting notes
Good medium red. Highly complex, musky nose combines red cherry, strawberry, game and truffley underbrush. Then tight, vibrant and youthfully imploded, with lively acidity giving precision to the flavors of red berries, pungent minerals and blood orange. Finishes with excellent penetrating precision, lift and perfume. Structured to evolve slowly in bottle but there's no shortage of sex appeal today.

Good dark, bright red. Black cherry, licorice and herbs on the nose, with a liqueur-like suggestion and a whiff of reduction. Silky, broad and round but classically dry and still a bit youthfully withdrawn. Not yet full in the mouth, but there's good volume and size here. Serious juice.
Sweetly fragrant red fruit. Firm, savoury and quite a grip on the finish. It's just a bit hard, hence the minus. (JH)
