Score 92/100 · Drink 2007-2020, Pierre Rovani, Dec 2004

The 2003 Riesling Spatlese Norheimer Kirschheck was pristine. Its lovely floral, spicy aromas lead to an attractive, concentrated, deep core of red berries and minerals. Projected maturity: 2007-2020. Bravo to Helmut Donnhoff for this magical line-up! Importer: Terry Theise Estate Selections, imported by Michael Skurnik Wines, Inc., Syosset, NY; tel. (516) 677-9300

Tingly acidity. Very nerveux and racy. As though cut from a crystal, with lots and lots of pure fruit. Tastes more like an Auslese. Needs time. (JR)
