Score 90/100 · Drink 2005-2009, Robert Parker, Feb 2005
The 2002 Pinot Noir Russian River reveals Morey-St.-Denis-like forest floor, plum, cherry, and cola characteristics, medium to full body, soft, sweet fruit, good underlying acidity, and loads of complexity as well as personality. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. Tel. (925) 254-8922; Fax (925) 254-8942

Good deep red. Very ripe aromas of raspberry, strawberry and chocolatey oak. Sweet, sappy and flavorful, with lovely pinot tang. Fairly intense flavors of red berries, mocha, sassafras and spices. Finishes ripely tannic and persistent.
