Score 93/100 · Robert Parker, Jun 1993
Ponsot's terrific 1990s are his finest wines since 1980. The top grands crus include a firm, backward, highly promising 1990 Chambertin. Neither as rich nor as full-bodied as the 1990 Clos St.-Denis-Vieilles Vignes or 1990 Clos de la Roche-Vieilles Vignes, it displays admirable intensity and a generous, medium to full-bodied, rich, firm taste and finish. Importer: Vineyard Brands, Chester, VT.
