2019 Gevrey Chambertin Les Combottes

Offering up aromas of spiced cherries, plums and smoked meats, as well as hints of cumin and loamy soil, Raphet's 2019 Gevrey-Chamberitn 1er Cru Les Combottes is medium to full-bodied, rich and enveloping, with a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannin and a long, succulent finish. Sapid and rather old-fashioned in style, it's already very expressive.
