Score 85/100 · Drink 2019-2021, Neal Martin, Jan 2020
The 2018 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits was bottled in September. It has a ripe, candied bouquet of orange blossom filtering through red cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, and missing a little weight on the attenuated finish. Drink over the next couple of years.

Vines above Vosne from the Gerbet side of the family. 60 years old. Fermented in concrete, aged in oak, none new. Bottled early September. Lightish cherry red. Fresh red fruits and a touch smoky on the nose. Light, bright, juicy. Fine tannins. (JH)
