Tasting notes
Seriously impressive, the 2019 Château De Chambrun boasts a healthy ruby/purple hue to go with classic notes of cherry and currant-like fruits as well as cedar pencil, spice, and dried flowers. It's complex and medium-bodied, with a layered, elegant mouthfeel and outstanding length. I'd buy it.

The 2019 Château de Chambrun is still very high-toned and showy on the nose and, as such, loses some definition. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and a slightly tarry texture, but there is decent substance and freshness on the finish.
The 2019 de Chambrun has turned out beautifully. This succulent, fleshy Lalande de Pomerol has so much to recommend it. Succulent dark cherry and plum fruit open first, followed by attractive floral and savory accents that extend into the finish. All the elements are so well balanced.
