2023 Nuits St Georges Les Chaboeufs

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chaboeufs 1er Cru, which had already been bottled, has a noticeable marine influence on the nose, with touches of fish scales infusing the black plummy fruit. This coheres nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a little granular with traces of graphite toward the finish. This is not powerful, but a well-crafted NSG from one of the lesser known climats.
