The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses is exquisite, soaring from the glass with a captivating bouquet of sweet red berries mingled with rose petals, violets, incense, exotic spices and blood orange. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and sensual, it's deep and seamless, with a layered, suave and weightless but intense core of fruit, concluding with a lavishly perfumed and mouthwateringly mineral finish.
80% whole clusters. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Scented, floral nose with rose and flowers. Mid weight with a lovely, fine texture. Very concise and precise. Lofty and floral right to the long finish. (MH)
The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a showstopping bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, intense mineralité and ample energy. It's pure Pinot in all its unfettered glory. The palate has wonderful balance, superb poise and focus, filigree tannins and a long, tender, blueberry-tinged finish that goes on and on. This is a stunning Amoureuses from the top drawer.
