Score 89/100 · Drink 1995-2004, Robert Parker, Dec 1993
The 1990 Chablis-Montee de Tonnerre, which may merit an outstanding wine after 6-12 months in the bottle, is capable of lasting 10 or more years. A classic example of a non-oaked style of Chablis, it offers superb fruit, admirable precision, purity, and ripeness, and plenty of rich, deep, layered fruit flavors. Although medium to full-bodied, with outstanding depth, yet still young and unevolved, it cannot match the explosive richness, great precision, and huge depth of fruit found in the 1990 Chablis-Les Clos. Importer: Hand Picked Selections, Dan Kravitz, Warrenton, VA.
