Tasting notes
The first thing I thought of on the nose was “chalk and stone”. Whether it's power of suggestion or power of terroir, one or the other is extremely strong! To be sure, there are also aromatic intimations of the bright, juicy lime and apple that dominate a feather-light but subtly silken, far-from-lean palate. Sweetness is restrained, helping generate a vivid impression of fruit succulence in positive tension with the wine’s penetrating, mouthwatering acidity. The delightfully animated, not to mention refreshing, finish is like a whirling pas de deux of fruity and mineral elements that doesn’t want to end.
