Score 87/100 · Drink 1994-2009, Robert Parker, Feb 1994
Since the 1983 vintage Rausan-Segla has been in top form, producing one of the top three or four Margaux wines. The 1991 is one of the vintage's stars. The saturated dark ruby color is followed by a bouquet of spicy fruitcake, cedar, cassis, and floral scents. Sweet and round, with excellent definition, layers of richness, and a long, supple finish, this well-endowed, concentrated, impeccably-balanced wine should drink well for 10-15 years.

Rauzan Segla
The Chanel group purchased Margaux Second Growth Ch. Rauzan-Ségla in 1994. Under the iconic fashion house’s ownership and – since 2014 – the guidance of winemaker Nicolas Audebert, the estate has seen significant investment and rapidly become one of Bordeaux’s most desirable.
