The 2022 Kai originates from the Max I and Max V blocks, planted in rocky alluvial soils in the early 1990s. It was fermented in stainless steel and matured for 18 months in 45% new French oak and contains 4% Syrah. The nose is pure, herbal and dark-fruited, quickly developing a lovely floral side that further lifts its aromas. The palate is posed, refined and fresh, concluding with a focused finish framed with vibrant acidity and discreet tannins.

Sourced from selected blocks in the Max I and V vineyards in the Aconcagua Andes, the 2022 Carménère Kai also incorporates 4% Syrah. Aged for 18 months in 45% new French oak barrels, this deep purple wine entices with aromas of plum, blackberry and paprika, complemented by hints of ash and oak. On the palate, it is dry and rich, with an overwhelming mouthfeel and plush tannins that contribute to a long-lasting and clingy finish. This wine represents the quintessential expression of continental Carménère in Chile.
