Score 87/100 · Neal Martin, Oct 2020
The 1964 Musigny Grand Cru has a deep color similar to the 1961. Truffle and morels on the nose, and hints of sandalwood, though I was expecting more fruit intensity given the vintage. That comes across on the palate, too: balanced, rather dry and just a little hollow, so unusual for a 1964. I suspect there are better bottles out there and I prefer the excellent '64 Amoureuses. Tasted at the Drouhin Musigny vertical in London.
