Tasting notes
The 2017 Chablis Beauroy 1er Cru is soft, open-knit and quite inviting. Pear, baked apple, spice and white pepper add character to this pretty, mid-weight 1er Cru. The Beauroy is arguably the most accessible of these 1er Crus for near-term drinking.

The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy offers up a site-typical bouquet of mandarin, honeyed Meyer lemons and flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, expansive and open-knit palate that's delicately fleshy and nicely defined, concluding with a saline finish. This is a blend of lieux-dits Beauroy and Troesmes.
Some gently flinty aromas here with lemons and limes, as well as wet stones. The palate has a very composed and fresh core of ripe peaches and melon, as well as grapefruit. Drink now.
